Music is not a competition. It's a language that draws people together. When I was 15 I discovered that I had this language on the inside that was just busting to come out. It was like I found something that could translate what I was hearing in the deepest parts of my soul. It just felt right to me. Someone pointed out a few notes and I took off from there. I played for hours and hours on end with that youthful enthusiasm that felt like I'd discovered something that no one else ever had.

I soon learned that a lot of people felt this way about music and it's been my quest to find like minded people to play music with. This shared love of music has taken me to some interesting places and continues to do so.
